 Flamenco En Vivo Shows

Flamenco En Vivo was formed in 1999 by founder:

Judith Maria Garcia.

Together with Flamenco Guitarist and husband of 42 years,

Oscar-Jose Garcia.

The dynamic duo have created full scale productions with Judith's students from the University of Alberta, Grant McEwan College, Metro Community College, City Arts Center, Citie Ballet, Planet Ze Design Centre, as well as her own private students.

Oscar-Jose Garcia brought the music and new arrangements of his amazing flamenco guitar talent. Along, with hired guest artists, the dance troupe formed many Flamenco experiences unlike any other in the city of Edmonton.

The couple have been teaching workshops in Calgary, Westlock, Barrhead, Saskatchewan, Edmonton, for many years. Today the couple can be found teaching at Dance Code Studio, in Edmonton Alberta, Thorhild, Westlock, Barrhead, and in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. They are still very active in the teaching and training of new flamenco students in; dance, guitar and voice. They have been doing this now for the past fourty years and every year brings them joy and happiness knowing that they are still able to share their love and passion of flamenco with others.

Judith Garcia competed in 2008 in the "World Championships of Performing Arts" (WCOPA) in Los Angeles California, and won twenty six awards for her performances in dance, singing, singing while playing piano, dancing while singing, and acting . This is more than any other competitor has ever won in the history of the World Championships of Performing Arts.
